I agree. As an MP I have done everything in my power questions writing letters attending events, meeting ambassadors meeting hostage families but I get “that’s just words what are you DOING”. UK govt has moved & acted as result of all these things & we are getting closer to peace. Good on Greta & co

It’s #HospiceCareWeek — a time to celebrate their incredible work.
Hospices face challenging funding conditions, which I am campaigning on.
Most recently, I took on an alternative triathlon to raise funds for Julia’s House. I’m 70% of the way to my target! 🏃

The going rate for directors, execs etc will be over £100k - getting rid of leaders doesn’t achieve good outcomes. Making sure they do a good job does.

Perhaps if they had done their homework … social care & other statutory services will sink Kent just like other places. Full reform of local gov is what is needed not just cancelling what they saw as “woke” or “waste”

While Parliament is in recess, I’ve been visiting schools across the constituency! From a Q&A with Corfe Hills Sixth Form to questions from Lytchett Matravers School Council.
I always end my visits by reminding students that I’m not just their parents’ MP, but their MP too, and to write to me.

My full statement on Colehill Pharmacy in images.

Text -After hearing reports that Colehill Pharmacy might be closing, I visited the pharmacy and met with the landlord to discuss the situation.
I want to reassure residents that there is no indication the pharmacy is under threat—both parties are working together on a solution, and the landlord is committed to making this happen.
I have also written to the NHS on behalf of the pharmacy, and my door remains open to both parties for any support they may need.
Colehill Pharmacy is a vital service for our community, and I will do everything I can to ensure it remains open. Alongside local ward councillors, I’m confident this matter will be resolved very soon.

Israel has intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters, detaining British citizens and seizing vessels flying the UK flag.
I recently signed a cross-party letter to the Foreign Secretary urging him to protect those on board.
Today I repeat that call.

It was a pleasure to attend the Purbeck Health & Wellbeing Fair, where I met one of Dorset’s few Admiral Nurses — specialists who support families affected by dementia. I’ll keep campaigning so every community in Mid Dorset & North Poole can access this vital care.

Digital ID won’t stop small boats or illegal employment.
You already have to prove your right to work.
A national Digital ID is illiberal, unworkable and un-British.
I and the Liberal Democrats will do everything we can to stop this.
