In 2020 I built an app for a US Army hackathon—cancelled after SolarWinds. Threw it on Google Play, earned $4.28 😂 After 5 yrs I updated it. Celestial Illumination helps SAR, pilots, sailors, astronomers, farmers & adventurers.

Remember Escapa? One of the first viral JavaScript games from about 25y ago. I ported it to Android in 2010. After 15 years & $22.43 in ad revenue, it’s now open-source.

In the past week, my website saw 20 human visitors and a staggering 115,420 bot requests. GoogleBot isn't respecting the crawl-delay directive. Thankfully, @cloudflare.social offers an option to block overly zealous bots, allowing my website to breathe again.

Targeting #Android #SDK35? Your app UI may break due to enforced edge-to-edge layouts. Quick fix: override it in res/values-v35/themes.xml with windowOptOutEdgeToEdgeEnforcement. Minimal code, no layout chaos. ✅ Read the full instructions:
