I picked this book up because I felt I didn't know nearly enough about the queer community's history, especially the AIDS epidemic. This book passed my expectations. I'm actually bawling my eyes out rn. 6/5.

no but for real. the past year has been rough and yet I have watched this woman pull herself back up by her bootstraps time and time again. despite everything she remains kind and determined and gentle and the best person I know. I love her so much and am so thankful to stand by her side ❤️
