The tyrant fears bodhisattvas and saints not because the saint or bodhisattva will overthrow him, but because the bodhisattva makes tyranny look... unnecessary. Absurd, even. Like a man screaming at shadows while standing in broad daylight.

The moon is reflected
in ten thousand puddles—
break all the puddles,
the moon remains untouched.

Now then, professor:
Having deconstructed the Dharma
to fit your modern whims,
can you show me
one moment
of insight?
