I actually do trust and believe your motives. I do also think you’ll have a PR/perception obstacle to get over, but you may have a strategy for that. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating, of course.

I’m rephrase: how do you intend to court the non-toxic, when the idea sounds so toxic? Is that a concern, or do you trust your motives will be enough?

I’m a playwright, not a novelist, so apples and oranges, sure; but I wouldn’t want to be associated with a “Male Writers Only” publisher or producer for my scripts, no matter how sincere.

Are you concerned at all that your “Men Only” launch branding will invite exactly those chuds in your submissions, and act as a deterrent for the non-toxic male writers you hope to champion?
