I bought the trident Mariners hat online about a month ago. But I had my Fanatics moment. The bill was off-center and even though the label was my size it was too big. I did get a refund. Hopefully I can find a store with this.

Really only about three of them were anything close to obscure. They listed most of the name guys on that team. Rip off the names and numbers of the starting O-Line and a few backups. That would be impressive.

I used to work for a publishing company. They wanted to use a picture of Yogi Berra for a book cover. Berra's people said the fee was $500. So one of the editors found a wire service photo for 75 cents instead.

I turned six that summer and I never knew about the striped stirrups until today. Looking back, I never remembered any Astro showing the full stirrup. Perhaps they changed them in later years. Willing to guess the players revolted on the design. The jerseys are one thing, the sox were another.

I'm a Yankees fan and I do not care for the Dodgers. But at least they are trying. The teams to "hate" are the ones who are not even bothering to even attempt to win.

He was, and may still be, and advisor with Topps. He did take pictures for their cards as well many, many years ago. He has spoken about this previously. So your information is correct.
