But they ARE being stopped for safety checks. Your own story says each check takes 1 hour per truck. With over 100 trucks sent, that's 100+ cumulative hours of delay. bsky.app/profile/nick...
Oregon officials confirmed that when their fire trucks rushed south to help with LA fires, California first required them to undergo safety inspections in Sacramento. Slowing first responders in a life-and-death emergency sounds to me like regulatory overreach. apps.oregon.gov/oregon-newsr...
