My piece for @vinegarzines.bsky.social Through the Telephone.

Contributors were each given a mystery prompt to create for, and we only find out the actual source at the end (I was so far off, oof)

"Four friends try out a new video game and end up meeting new friends and traveling to far-off worlds as their save files become irreparably ruined." The prompt to the illustration. Depicted: four rpg styled characters: A human swordsman, an elven archer, a large berserker ax-man, and a short fae cleric walking into a backdrop much like a "select stage" screen in a game. In each panel is a glimpse into another world: a dense forest with floating islands in the sky, a golden desert at sunset, and the depths of the sea with shimmering fish. Floating atop these world panels are various computer error messages, with the central pop up reading "contine?" with a yes/no option.
