I am hoping next semester I play more of our students games and I'm able to give feedback and support. If you need a little hope, know that there're some great designers coming up and they're playful, smart, and deeply informed.

The form was hilarious and thoughtful, and Chase really kept up the banter as a put upon prodigy trying to keep me out of Catholic Hell. They handcuffed me to the soul of a crystallized sinner and then proceeded to tell me what level of hell I would go to. And then tried to sell me indulgences!

The final game I got to play was actually a performance piece which to me was a larp. I sat down opposite a "lawyer" who quickly revealed themselves to be an intermediary between god and hell. They could represent me and help me out in the future. But first I had to do paperwork.

Filled with tropes, I was not expecting to see this ttrpg asshole we all know. The game actually rewards you for some harsh, but non toxic choices. And your dates? They can DIE. Very silly and filled with dark humor.

The next game I saw was Generic Dating Simulator. This game hurt me in a great way. Once again really smart writing here. You feel guilty for even playing it, because it really feels like a Dating Sim written by Daria and she's judging you.https://rennykins.itch.io/generic-dating-simulator

This is a Cosmic Horror/Humor infused dating sim that uses contrasting art styles and fonts to embody each datable character. Smart writing, great music, and holy fuck the character design. Like this moth lady? THIS MOTH LADY.

I'll update with more ideas utilizing your space as I'm prepping my playlist for my next semester larp class! There's a few Jeepform games you'll like and enjoy like Playing the Cards.

If your players are srs You can absolutely run something like Winterhorne it expands well. You can also play Meg's 1001 Nights as an easy prep and play larp.

If you've got space, and high energy groups willing to enjoy drama, I really like My Jam. Musical, infectious, drama filled. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Mitvah is also great fun in this vein.

What's the group flavor? Genre Likes/Dislikes? How much physical room do you have? Ghost Court is a great intro into larp for folks who come in from the ground floor and easy to set up with little space requirements.

I didn't even KNOW there was a new De la Soul album. Gotta spread the news.

The class is titled, "Advanced Make Believe and Co-Created Realities: Live Action Roleplaying Studio." Also I may have tap danced off stage.

I was definitely thinking of Tales from Woodcreek, but I could make a good case for a few of CR's live shows and extra content as well.
