In order to put to rest “did they actually use it or not”, Guillaume Broche said it a recent Q&A that they tried AI when the tech was new, but they didn’t like it, it felt wrong to them. And they will not be using it in the future.

It doesn't matter, it is a game, I should be able to throw it away. But I can't. But that's also the excuse the horrible Harry Potter adults use. But this clearly isn't as bad as that. But zero tolerance for gen AI. But I also messed around with AI before I knew it was bad. Uhhhh

It's not anything that affected the creative and artistic end result, clearly no jobs were lost because of it, but the placeholders were still made by the evil regurgitate plagiarism machine. The poison is there.

Am I willing to forgive E33's AI use even though I acknowledge it's a problem just because I loved the game so much? Maybe? Probably? Ow light is starting to hate me again.
