Oscar Wilde described transactional Trump to a T:
"A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing", he opined pithily,
His embrace of fascism on top of his BIG LIE,
Will leave Benedict Donald defined for all time,
As the worst president in American history!

In a tag team charade worthy of WWE,
Th POTUS and his VEEP reprised reality tv,
Openly supporting a bloodthirsty autocracy,
Instead of an ally shedding blood for democracy...

Final stanza coming up. It might take two posts.

Accustomed to Republicans shamelessly kissing his ring,
Putin's proxy tried to goad Zelinsky into doing the same thing,
He expected to be accorded fawning adulation,
While subjecting Zelinsky to ritual humiliation...

Stanza four; five next.

Putin and his patsy planned a Potemkin negotiation,
Eventually leading to Ukraine's defenestration,
He knew destroying American credibility was worth,
Letting Trump think he was getting half of Ukraine's "rare earth"...

Stanza three; four coming up.

Disparaging Zelinsky signaled his tacit approval,
Of Putin's invasion and his nemesis' removal,
He then pompously promised he's broker peace in no time,
But only succeeded in bringin Neville Chamberlain to mind...

This was the second stanza out of six. The third will be on the next post.

The impeached yet unchastened POTUS felt disrespected,
So revenge was on his mnd when he got re-elected,
The Ukrainian president had refuse to play ball.
So he gave his more willing quid pro quo partner a call...

Note: this is the first of six stanzas. Check out subsequent posts for the remainder.

Can someone tell me if there is a word limit on a post?
I've tried to cut and paste; I've tried typing the whole thing,
but have not been allowed to actually post.

I wrote five stanzas totaling 208 words. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
