Used to do more roadtrips for camping, but I've only lived in Montana and Colorado! And I JUST flew to Pittsburgh this year, furthest I've ever been

I'd like to travel more, but that shit's so expensive...

Nell has been so lucky in life, I think karma set The Doctor’s sights on him to harvest. It’s Doc who haunts his dreams nightly, giving him insomnia and dread at being alone. He is absolutely powerless, physically and mentally, to Doc.

Huh, how’d the priest do that? (4/4)
Page 10 The priest peeks from around a corner of a building, watching the woman fight the last Demon, the winged one, in the marketplace. A circular portal whirls and zaps on the ground next to the two fighters. The priest is watching in awe when his cross suddenly jerks up, tugging him forward. He’s shocked, gasping “hey!” as he’s pulled towards the portal. Page 11 The priest stumbles past the woman, who has her back turned to him as she finishes off the Demon. She looks over her shoulder, shocked to see the priest. She starts to turn toward him, shouting “hey wait!” but her shout is barely heard The priest is dragged to the portal, his cross straining and vibrating as he falls to his knees next to the swirling vortex. Lightning licks his arms as he looks, terrified, down into the maw. Page 12 The priest suddenly loses his terrified expression, his eyes glowing as something possesses him. He lifts his hands up and leans forward. The woman can be seen running up to him in the background, her cry of “what do you think you’re doing?!” so distant it’s barely visible as he concentrates on the portal. Two panels focus on the priest’s mouth as he says something we cannot hear A runic, magic ring of light appears in front of his hands, very similar to the patterns on the Demons. It hovers in front of his cross as lightning violently swirls around him. With a loud ZZZAP! and a few fizzles, the screen cuts to black Page 13 A small text box floats above the same sweeping view of the city from page 1, saying “Dear god… he closed it.” The church spire especially stands out in the panoramic. The text ”End Chapter One” is written

His savior! (3/4)
Page 6 The woman lifts her spear over her shoulder, flicking a few strands of hair out of her face. She is drawn beautifully, with sparkles around her, as the priest looks up at his savior. She asks him “hey church boy, got all your limbs?” The priest stares for a moment, mouth agape, sparkles around him too as he is caught up in the infatuation. He suddenly realizes he hasn’t said anything and blushes. Embarrassed, he looks away and stutters “y-yes.” He awkwardly scrambles up from the ground, using a building wall to shimmy up. The woman stares at him, slightly confused, as he struggles. The dead Demon nearby has little Xs over its eyes and its tongue lolls out as blood pools Page 7 As the priest continues to fawn over the woman, she looks down the street and says with heroic confidence “best get to safety then before -“ Loud booms and crashes and screams interrupt her, and her eyes widen at the sudden noises. The priest snaps out of his reverie, the sparkles and bubbles of his lovey dovey thoughts popping. The woman spins her spear as she takes off, glancing back at the priest and saying with a confident smile, “that’s my cue!” The priest clutches the strap of his satchel nervously and squeaks out “ah, ok!” Page 8 The woman springs into action. Her left eye lights up, and lightning streaks out of it as she winds up to throw her spear. The lightning wraps around the shaft as she hurtles it toward something off screen, the spear flexing and blurring in the immense speed she throws into it. She grins ferociously as it embeds into something, blood spraying Page 9 The woman fights the remaining two Demons. She faces off with one Demon in an Akira reference, a top down view of her walking toward the sleek Demon. The middle panel shows her slicing off the tongue of the winged Demon with a spin of her spear. The third panel shows her confidently grinning she as stabs up into a Demon, blood spraying

Ruh-oh, so much for a peaceful day (2/4)
Page 2 The same young priest walks past a stall filled with Demon baubles, including horns and claws and potions to ward away the beasts. Two citizens chat about the Demon threat. An older woman says “I heard Torniv got attacked last week.” To which a burly man replies “yeah, apparently it took them a whole day to close the portal.” The bottom two panels continue the conversation as the priest steps in a puddle, the woman saying “damn shame living in the woods like Torniv, glad the city is safe from Demons.” A tiny spark of lightning trails up from the puddle as she speaks, licking the shoe of the priest as he walks by. Page 3 Black bars indicate the passage of time. Smoke billows out from ruined houses, and bodies litter the street. Dropped supplies and rubble dot the bloodied street as well. The next three panels show the blood-stained heads of three different creatures, Demons. They are gator-lion-like creatures, with long jaws and thick black manes. Their bodies are covered in geometric patterns. The first Demon is stockier, and has two large horns, one on top of its snout and the other jutting out from its chin. The second Demon is sleeker, and has spine spikes and no horns. The third Demon has two small chin horns and wings instead of two front legs. All three roar and spit black blood with crazed expressions Page 4 The young priest sprints down an alley, the stocky Demon chasing him and crashing around a corner of a building. Its scale is revealed, about 10 feet tall at the shoulder. The priest trips on a rock as he distractedly looks over his shoulder, and he tumbles to the ground with a gasped “oh NO.” The Demon looms over him, about to plunge its jaws into the priest who lies, helpless, on the ground Page 5 The Demon roars, about to snap down on him, when a spear tip plunges through its skull. As it falls to the ground, an armored woman is revealed, standing on top of the creature with a wicked grin as she dramatically stabs it. Her armor consists of a breastplate and placard, bracers, and greaves. She wears long gloves with straps around the biceps. A few pouches are strapped around d her waist. She wears her long dark hair in a high ponytail, and a few scars decorate the left side of her face
