However, bringing into context the rest of the song, I don't see how that interpretation is supported. The lyric is likely referencing how the other person feels the same as what's expressed in the chorus by the narrator and their look betrays that to the narrator. The song is incredibly sincere...

Alright, I suppose then my answer would be how you came to that interpretation of the lyric in "Feel"? If divorced from the context of the rest of the song, I could see it working as an indication of the narrator suspecting their lover's infidelity even if they won't confess/say it.

Sorry to randomly reply but just wondering if I'm understanding correctly that in you comparing the lyric in "Feel" to songs like "So Hard" and "For Your Own Good", that in doing do you're purposefully implying that the suspicion in "Feel" is also infidelity/cheating/doubt?
