Done with Ascalon. I like some of the zones, but the starter zones there are large and desolate at times.

Midsummer's Eve This gathering will be a time of letting go of your mundane life for a few hours and becoming one of the fae, also known as faerie-kin. You will be given a name at the beginning of the party and you will be referred to by this name until the end. No watches or time-pieces will be allowed at the party; only the Fae Chieftain will know what the time is. These two factors will help you separate yourself from the mundane world. (If you need to leave at a specific time, you may ask the chieftain to tell you when you need to leave.) Also, to help you get into the mood of the evening, costumes are definitely encouraged, but certainly not required. Wear whatever you want to wear. Be who you want to be. We will create our little reality outside of the one we live in. Refreshments and music will be supplied, but you may bring your own with the following stipulations: Food is to be ‘natural’ in genre. Fresh fruit, juices, baked goods, and cheeses are the preferred types. PLEASE avoid plastic and other synthesized materials as well as processed food at all costs. Music needs to be either New Age or something before modernized times (i.e. classical, folk-traditional,etc.). If you don't have something like this, dance music is also allowed. We are trying to create a fantasy for all to enjoy. Please try to leave the mundane world behind. Thank you and be prepared for the fantasy of a lifetime.

I have returned from vacation to Manhattan KS #MHK. I really liked the Flint Hills region. It is very different than the rest of the Midwest/Great Plains, with its tallgrass prairies and its rocky soil. The hill cutaways are beautiful.

I could see myself going back.

Another WIP physical map for Lancer. Copying digital maps to tabletop consumes a little time, and the dimensions are not the same. So compromises must be made.

I also made some NPC tokens using Alice J Shade Fish's Lancer tokens (see link). I printed them out on paper, tried to cut them with a 1" punch (failure), trimmed them up, and stuck them in coin holders. Viola.

What are your top 4 CGL redesigns?

I love all the CGL redesigns compared to the 80s/90s models. They look chonky enough to be armored mechs. No more twiggy limbs.
