This wasn't my original plan - I was supposed to be going to the gym - but I woke up with a cracking headache.
Husband says that the cold he had a few weeks ago gave him a headache as well so perhaps it's the same one, just been through several other people first 😆

Husband is out at his orchestra's Christmas dinner tonight, and I'm working on my assignment. I'm cheering myself up through the use of twinkly lights, a lit fire, smelly candles, and breaking into our stock of Christmas 'tea' - a spicy fruit infusion from Whittards.

Tea just for me today - we spent husband's lunchtime choosing him shoes in the sale I saw on my way back from gym this morning. As it was the first day, they were so busy, but it was worth it - he found two pairs he liked/ were comfortable. That's next year sorted!

What else to do on a very rainy day but go for tea with husband? Seems everyone else had the same idea, as it was packed solid in there - I got a table by hovering when other people were leaving.
