Anyway, migrating root to ZFS on a working server was a good idea and totally worth the downtime. And most of that was figuring out how to make it become root at boot, which normally is something the installer does.

People keep asking why is everything Chromium, but what they should be asking is why is a browser engine maintained by a for-profit anti-privacy mega-corporation easier to build upon than the one by _checks notes_ actually nevermind, i'm not sure anymore.
