Big fan of also going through my cities newspapers/ads on Internet Archive or through the library. Usually plan most my pieces through the photos I have saved tbh…

Btw how I make my backgrounds is just slapping photos that I took around my town/free texture websites and using a fuck load of gradient maps. Then going over it with grungy texture brushes or halftones.
