Since there's some weirdness about Neuro-sama going around on the other site, I'm just gonna say she gets a pass on my AI disdain because: She's a singular entity, she's not stealing people's creative labors, and most importantly she is seemingly being raised and slowly taught.

They're not celebrating AI sloppa, they're celebrating a reasonably compelling vtuber narrative of a programmer "father" progressively improving the capabilities of his AI "daughter". The "passionate person" who is winning awards is the programmer, who appears in most streams anyway.

Yaknow I get that generative AI sucks and is in most cases straight up art theft but not all AI stuff is evil. I think it's weird how much people hate AI. There are ethical ways to use it and it's not a "good" or "bad" thing. Not everything's so black and white. Also Neurosama rocks sorry not sorry.
