Tonight I learned that one of my heroes has died. I loved her and colleagues' "adventures" as a child and grew up to admire her scientific work for so many reasons. RIP Jane Goodall.

So it happened. I woke up today to a completely suspended Facebook account claiming I had "violated community standards". I did try to appeal it but honestly have been thinking of moving away from Facebook for a long time now, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
