The Navajo Code Talkers were U.S. Marines who developed an unbreakable code using the Navajo language during World War II. The first 29 Navajo Code Talkers trained at Fort Wingate and deployed from the Gallup railroad depot. #Gallup is home to the Navajo Code Talker Museum.
