but it's still worth pushing through because just because this convo might go very differently when i circle back to it, it's still leading to a different scene, and writing the convo leading up to it is necessary (for me) so I can see the board clearly

part of the problem of my work being very focused on snappy-yet-characterizing dialogue is that it relies very heavily on my brain having the flow that makes that come naturally; it's very hard to write a subpar version of the convo and just edit it better, because a better version will go elsewhere

been tired still (it occurs to me that i have not had a Nap to top up my sleep debt in... several months? oops) but making a lil progress today. VixieFFS is going to have a good chunk of Wren in it and he and Vixie have a very Specific chemistry that requires some sharpness I do not have rn oops

wifey has been v v helpful and my other loved ones are lovely and encouraging as always, which helps! got a fantastic circle of nerds in my heart and in my phone pushing me onward

and/or towards a shower and an early bedtime zzz

This one may seem very familiar to some readers - it's a Vixie POV alternate version of a previously existing Ellen short story, rewritten to fit better with the Vixie POV book.
