As a Texan, I say do it! Please! Politics in my state are very backwards. We're actually quite purple, but you'd never know it based on who's in power here.

The problem is - what does more serious action look like? Can we even deal with these issues within the current system?
Things can only remain peaceful for so long, & I think that's exactly what Trump & Musk want... for things to not be peaceful. We won't last through 4 years of this.

Disagree completely about AI. It's making people dumber, it's theft, copyright infringement on a massive scale that is detrimental to real artists, and it is horrible for our environment.

As an American... I'm sorry. Not all of us voted for this BS, and I certainly didn't.
You're right unfortunately. Europe is going to have to band together without us and protect Ukraine. Hopefully, MAYBE, sanity will come back to the USA in another 4 years - if we're still a country.

The frightening thing to me is that out where I live, there would be as many if not more militias forming that support him than those that oppose him. At least in my general area. The rednecks out here are still under his spell.

I live on the outskirts of Dallas-Fort Worth, with friends that live in the city & other friends that live in rural areas. Many of them choose to be isolated and ignorant, wallowing in their bigotry. If it doesn't effect them, they don't care and just laugh about it. It's shocking, really.

I've realized that unfortunately a large number of Americans are either idiots, assholes, or both. And many of them are my neighbors here in Texas where I live.
