A few questions I asked myself while writing Footnotes:

🌍 How many more clubs will make deals with Rwanda & DRC?

👩‍🦰 Will more women’s teams be sold to parent clubs?

💵 How deep are Unify League promoters' problems?

What’s your take?

Enzo Millot was linked to #Atletico & #Spurs after a strong season with Stuttgart. But he’s heading to #AlAhli.

This increased Saudi strength—not just attracting past-prime stars but rising talents too—will keep pushing the market upward. How far will it inflate #transfers?

#FCPorto announced the signing of Luuk de Jong by surprise. But here’s something you might not know:

At 34, he’s the oldest player Porto have signed in the last seven years—since Pepe returned in 2018 at age 36.

Wild #CopaAmericaFEM final: Marta, 39, came on at 82’, equalised at 96’ (3-3) to force extra time, scored again at 105’ (3-4), but #Colombia equalised with five minutes left. Then, she missed #Brazil’s 5th penalty (which could’ve won it), but Colombia missed too... Brazil took the title

Was Gyökeres a bad deal for Sporting CP?

Some pundits say yes, because strikers often are the most expensive players.

But they're forgetting something. 👇

These two stats (via ESPN) and others give a glimpse of #Brazil vs #Argentina. But only by watching the game can you understand how powerful Argentina is. Without Messi and Di Maria. Really impressive.

Brazil has a long way to go before the World Cup.

Shots on goal: 7-1
Corners: 6-0

Premier League passes APT rules despite opposition from 4 clubs. Manchester City did not get the support it wanted to oppose the new rule changes. Significant moment for PL’s rules. Chelsea and Man Utd officials spoke up in favour of the rules before vote. Nobody spoke up against them at meeting.
