Maybe I'm being cynical, and I'd love to be proven wrong, but I think Bluesky will continue to be the only notable platform on ATProto.

Bluesky is weird in that it's running on a protocol for decentralized social media. The idea was that you could move your profile between hosting providers and it'd all play nice together.

Tbh, that little pipedream is dead, but it's the only thing bringing investors in, so we're stuck with it.
