The real problem is a disproportionate electoral system which puts almost all Albertan seats in permanent opposition to the government in Ottawa.

Proportional representation would give Albertans a real outlet—to be heard.

The NDP letting proportional representation slide in the CASA talks is looking more and more like a blunder.

If talks had collapsed over Trudeau rejecting his signature 2015 promise—on an issue 68% of Canadians support—wouldn't that have been a powerful narrative for the NDP to push?
