Haha me too. For some reason the image generators don’t respond to normal, simple logic prompts like they do for gen GPT queries. I have seen pro tutorials on how to generate simple realistic portraits and it is mind-numbingly over-complicated. Those LLms have long ways to go in usability.

anyone will be bale to tell something written is not fake will be to have the student answer verbally. Writing itself will lose its credibility as a skill verifier 😕. A good analogy is go use Ai image generator & see what u get. then look at the art gallery masterpieces pros make with same tool.

As someone who works in the field of Ai development. Fortunately/Unfortunately, most of the limitations of Ai use by students & teachers being able to tell cheating is mostly die to students not knowing how to use it expertly. The limitations are mostly user-based. Eventually the only way 1/2

Ai definitely *could* benefit humanity in absolute terms but we all know these knuckle-dragging billionaires & corporations want nothing to do with helping anyone other than using it to become techo-kings of 🌍 like the ones in Alien:Earth. 🙃

Absolutely. Our only hope is EU and other liberal democracies. But if the US falls there will be insatiable pressure for the rest of the world to fall until there is sufficient military, technological and social defenses.

That’s very optimistic Conor. The fascists in the U.S. now have almost 100% control over all media and record keeping and academia a little behind. Not sure who is going to write these in the future. Certainly not fashy-leaning GenZ or Alpha which is looking even worse than Z. 👀

Any study being touted by the current totalitarian media about anything being “back to normal” is highly sus. They openly dr numbers in every institution now to fit agendas. Lots of grains of salt to be taken with even the baseline claims.

The lvls of forced pacification a complicit corp. Amerika has in this authoritarian takeover cannot be overstated. Everytime any1 mentions existential things going on at work they are met with, “that isn’t appropriate, get back to work”. I believe its a major factor of the population under reaction.
