"only when it comes to the players of *their* youth" This is an underrated problem not just with fandom, but across most cultural/political spectrums. People over value everything from their youth.

The list of 1B who had negative WAR (or were still in the minors) in their age 23 season is very long. Casas had 2.2 WAR. That suggests a pretty solid ceiling. Selling low would be criminally negligent.

Is he still a vialbe catcher (no catching in 2025)? If so, I love that fit as both Casas insurance and Catcher rotation. Lots of interesting C/1B/DH flex.
