Rhetorical question? It’s an important observation. We can’t be sure that people won’t depict this without centering the abusers. I had to unlearn subverting the female in a story, and I’m female! Even the most sympathetic to the women might subtly talk as if this is the abusers’ story. It’s not.

The Obamas are model citizens and they raised two daughters who are the same. For rational people, that’s a model to respect or even emulate. For toxic narcissists it’s a threat, as is anything and anyone who doesn’t recognize, or even give a rat’s ass about, a pretend emperor.

She’s not listening to us. I’m a constituent and have supported her in the past. That’s over. She doesn’t even answer letters or emails with a canned response. Many of her colleagues do so being too busy not listening to us is not an excuse.
