I'm thrilled to announce that I won a FIS 3 (Fondo Italiano per la Scienza) project, funded by MUR.
It is a 5-year project titled CTRL-GAI - Controlling Generative AI - and aims at investigating generative deep models, their control mechanisms for data generation, and effects on downstream tasks

We're just back from San Diego where I and Massimiliano Ciranni attended @neuripsconf.bsky.social 2025, and presented our work on bias mitigation titled "Diffusing DeBias: Synthetic Bias Amplification for Model Debiasing".
29k attendees, about 2000 papers each day, workshops, tutorials, panels.

The 2nd Human-inspired Computer Vision (HiCV) Workshop will take place on Oct 20, 2025, in conjunction with @iccv.bsky.social!
