SudanTribune.com is probably the best source for day-to-day updates. For broader and more in-depth information on the conflict in general, I'll link some additional pieces. I'll also have some articles forthcoming on the topic

The reporting functionality seem to have a lot of power. They take it very seriously and it is getting misused to mark as spam or adding content warning where it’s not necessary. I imagine moderators are not exactly diverse.

I think there aren’t many and frankly haven’t seen that much leftist activity here either(American left don’t count). There is a Palestine and Middle East one though

I didnt realise they haven’t talked to you about it yet. I get they are busy but that’s not good.

They should be transparent about what has happened. At least they can divest why the accounts were marked spam or removed and whether it is site wide problem or Palestine account only problem.

I didn’t know it was problems for months. I haven’t been using Bluesky until recently and I’m wrong. shouldn’t have happened and right now this feels like a walled garden where the genocide is not mentioned except for few accounts. I hope they make significant change. Thanks for your effort!

Probably gatekeeping people away from this app. There are so many communities or countries not represented here. I do like the accountability aspect of the invite tree.

Same, I pretty much got all my job opportunities from there(3). I came from a self taught background and I was easily able to connect with people from my profession all across the globe.
