Generally, it takes me about 4hrs, give or take 2 more depending on if I'm really zoned in or not.

However, I also have to really have the energy for it, at a rate of about 1-2 full renders per week.

For a general explanation of my process, I usually start out by rough sketching it (usually takes about a half-hour, depending on complexity), afterwards I do hard outlines, and then color, detail, shade, etc on different layers. (Time here varies heavily, especially with shading.

If I recall correctly, if you want multiple cases to lead to the same thing, you have to use commas.

Like this:
case x, y:
do_thing();

While not nessacery, it makes it cleaner. Maybe try that?
