having more or less lurked and occasionally checked in here for a couple of years, now, i would agree. i feel like it's home base, because it's where a lot of my longtime internet pals and artists i used to follow on twitter (or tumblr) have gone. threads is... more of a warfront.

whatever hours i'm looking at bsky are not at all what i would call normal, myself, but i also don't actually mean to call out longtime e-frenz. i was drunk as fuck when i posted that and i think i just wanted someone to notice; so, thanks for noticing! if you're upset, so am i. solidarity.

anyway this is exactly what i would love to see bsky continue to be (though its crypo/tech nerd ownership kinda tells me it won't last). livejournal vibes. that's what i want. but yeah, i guess i crave something more immediate at this moment.
