I've mentioned this millions of times up to now but the OtherWorld elementary school was influenced by the unsettled hospital corridors scene from a 1990 film Jacob's Ladder.

Some in-game model images of Otherworld Elementary School from a PS1 era title "Silent Hill", which I designed & modeled back then. Rendered in a 3DCG app Softimage 3D that we used for the development.
One of the reasons I used the metal-mesh corridor was that the texture was useful for repeating.

VERYY true. hope the 6v6 rollback after the classic event shows the devs what they need to do. OW2 misses its core values in its current gameplay, it needs a rework. what’s out rn is not sustainable. old sombra, cassidy, and double tank are just a few examples. hurts to experience what we lost 😖
& now I'm crying. I've missed this experience so much. I miss Overwatch. I miss Sombra. I miss the "6th sense" I had developed — I felt like I understood the game on a level no one else did.
I've always been angry about the direction OW went, but I don't think I ever allowed myself to be sad.

this stuff genuinely gets me so heated i legitimately think that the younger generation is a lost cause (this includes those younger than me in my master’s program), idk how they can cross the street alone. it’s beyond cooked.
