A tent at #burningman was challenging this year! So only hours after getting home I bought this little cutie on eBay and intend to make the perfect #TTITD camper!

I found a 10 inch diameter 1 inch thick stainless steel plate that I dumpstered from my old workplace. If it were 1/8 inch bigger it would not fit on my lathe! It took me about three hours to cut the grooves for the micro-v belt.
The treadmill flywheel is cast-iron and cut much more easily!

Today’s project is converting a wood, only bandsaw to variable speed for metal cutting. plan is to make a sheave as large as possible to drive the bandsaw wheel with a treadmill motor.

The gloss polyurethane on my desk caused my optical mouse to jump around, so I taped off an area and sprayed it with Krylon frosted glass clearcoat, and now the mouse tracks perfectly!

$120 Bimini from Vevor. I forgot about the back stay but fortunately the bows split in the middle for shipping so all I have to do is sew in a zipper!

These buttons control the radio in my new car. But I want them to control my iPhone so I took the buttons from my old car and wired them to a $12 Bluetooth controller that I tucked into the steering wheel. The radio has Bluetooth and CarPlay, but in my opinion, good old aux sounds and works better!
