An announcement for a Boston City Council working session on Ranked Choice Voting (RCV). The session, sponsored by Council President Ruthzee Louijeune and co-sponsored by Councilors Julia Mejia and Henry Santana, will take place on Friday, April 4, at 11:30 AM in the Piemonte Room. The discussion will focus on potentially adopting RCV in Boston, allowing voters to rank candidates rather than selecting just one. The proposed change would also increase the number of candidates advancing in mayoral and district council races from two to four.
