Mine never get this moundy and bushy, even after 4 years. They just crawl along the ground a bit. But I still love them. I think maybe because they only get later in the afternoon sun.

Meet Pseudomasaris vespoides, pollen wasp. A rare pollinating wasp that doesn't eat flesh. In N. America, Vespoides is a penstemon specialist. This one building a nest in my Colorado yard, I have 5 penstemon species. For more info: tinyurl.com/yckddart #savepollinators #plantnative
