My son flew in for 3 days while my husband was in the hospital. The day he was flying home, I baked chocolate chip cookies for him to take home.

I just got my tree up today. I haven’t even thought about Christmas baking yet.
Although I did mix a triple batch of my sugar cookie dough for my daughter to bake cookies earlier in the week. Her work was having a cookie decorating competition. I hear the cookies were a hit.

My parents moved into an area that hadn’t been developed when I was 5 years old. We often saw pheasants in our backyard. I remember finding feathers and taking them to school for show and tell in kindergarten.
