This little silver number was really getting put through its paces during this early morning commute. Driver got right up to the end of that red light lineup! I'm so so sorry to have delayed you.....

This prius coming from the right was very aggro, super speedy, and a close passer. Not a fun combo.

This section is very frustrating- it's outside a middle school. These drivers are waiting for their kids but can't be bothered to pull into a parking spot. Instead they force my kid to move into the thru lane. Perfectly good bike lane right there for us but we're blocked from utilizing it

This looks harrowing, and there's certainly a lot going on here, but the reality is that by being on the bike, using the bike infrastructure, I slipped past 13 cars and continued on my way. #win

this one's fun; there's a section of truely protected bike lane on a road paralelling hwy24. Two drivers cut into the bike lane to save a few seconds, then zoom along the frontage road to get ahead of traffic. God help me if I was in front of them.

Time to upload a few clips from our school commutes showing drivers making unsafe choices. I hate amplifying these incidents, but the conflicts exist. Show it, and fix it. More bikes can beget the demand for more protected lanes. Drivers can't see it, but it will help EVERYBODY, even themselves.

our #BikeBus volunteers/leaders are working with the Safety Patrol leads to better coordinate our entrance into the school gates. There's lots of vehicle congestion especially right before the bell. Big school in a small neighborhood. We want to make this safer and smoother for all.

Incredible #BikeBus today in Oakland CA! Very gratifying to see some younger families hopping on the bus since we're aging out of elementary school next year. Let's keep it rolling!
