I got my seeds from Experimental Farm Network. All my seeds germinated. I planted 7 on my acre. The first time, I saw Passiflora incarnata in the wild, I thought its name was as beautiful as the flower. It is a wild one, does not necessarily come up where you plant it, spreads. Still love it.

Do they know it is very cold in the winter? If it was in a warmer climate, I would be there.

This is what I was going to suggest. You can stagger the length of the cuts on one plant. Cut the front of the coneflower, maybe ½ then the stems in the back ⅓ . This will grow stronger hardier stems. Shorter ones in the front provide support for taller ones in back. Lots of good YouTube videos.
