But, I completely get that the difficulty may put some people off or just make it impossible for them to progress. And I don't think they should be excluded from other parts of the experience because of that.

So yeah, maybe they just should have had classic cheat codes or something.

And I don't know. The unrelenting hardness is indeed part of the experience, and it does make me appreciate the game even more. I'm happy that I had no choice, rather the very same path everyone had to walk.

But a counter argument here is that a majority of things are designed around a human frame, and in the short term replacing those with a similar frame is not a ridiculous idea, until other aspects get sorted out.
