Also, if you feed hedgehogs in your garden it’s a good idea to keep putting food out over winter. They usually hibernate but not all or get disturbed & appreciate a snack. I currently have this scenario with a hog visiting the feeding station every night so it’s a big help to these beautiful animals

New DW is partly defined by abandoning the science part of sci-fi (it's now basically Eastenders in space). Five had some dodgy scripts but at least it felt like real sci-fi. I don't watch new-Who but when I did "give it a try" I found my eyes rolling more at how they'd sexed up the Silurians.

3/3 By all means punch down (aka Left) but you might lose the principled part of your audience. There's no shortage of comedians who do just that. No doubt you’d gain audience numbers of the type that enjoy adverts with toilet jokes, but I’m guessing you wouldn’t enjoy that.

2/3 The “Left” simply wants to make your life, your kids’ lives, my life, everyone’s life a bit nicer. So mocking the Left isn’t the same as mocking the Right. At this time, more than ever, that's important. Your USP is comedy with principles. You’re one of few comedians who mention Israel.

1/3 Re: Corbyn sketch. You say you find humour in all things but “Left” and “Right” don’t make for equal sport. For the past 50 odd years the “Right” has eroded our way of life; it props up predatory capitalism, enables slave wages, drives workers into poverty and a host of other diseases of greed.

Brought to mind a conversation I had with an economist many years ago. He said adverts are massively “dumbed down” in times of hardship because companies are clambering for money from the “lowest but most common audience” I.e he meant most people are dim and adverts are thus angled to the majority.

Have you ever listened to “The Boring Talks”? They’re short, niche talks on subjects ranging from coal holes to teletext. The whole style of your ‘Walks’ lends itself to doing something like that.

Perhaps it's not until middle-age that a lot of men develop enough philosophically that they start to appreciate the wider world, hence the bird watching.

How about a Zoom with an invited audience? Some stand up comedians do that to test out material.
