my guess would be either the firefox wasm jit doesn't like it, or there's an ffi issue moving data out of the vm (possibly also related to the jit)

firefox isnt really a cornerstone of performance these days in my experience

huge caveat: the typing speed improvement isnt really worth it

however, it feels much nicer and the ergonomics are better. not having to move my hands nearly at all just feels neat and creates less fatigue

however, i now feel a need to learn to use right shift
