My speculation based on absolutely nothing is that they wanted to be *sure* Daggerheart was successful before going full-tilt with it in a main campaign. Idk when they start planning new campaigns, so this is just an uneducated guess. I was excited either way

And a bunch of paints from Monument Hobbies and Turbo Dork (I had to go back to Turbo Dork on 3 different days because I kept forgetting what all I wanted). I'm so excited to start playing around with these!

And of course, I bought stuff. From Mage Hand Press, I got a super-cool book of extinct beasts for D&D and an adventure about trying to save the last owlbear. A desk mat with art by Joanna Barnum (corvids + night sky speaks to me).

It's a wonder I took *any* pictures at all

Also saw the #CriticalRole live show on Saturday night, which was a delight. From the Campaign 4 announcement and introduction of Brennan Lee Mulligan as the DM, to Jeremy Crawford and Chris Perkins in their tandem sweater, to an incredibly fun adventure with Bell's Hells (no spoilers here),

I saw a DnD-themed comedy show from Steve Wrigley, which was every bit as funny as I'd hoped (will never forget the very fitting mid-set "door incident")

I learned the basics of drybrushing minis at a beginner mini painting class, which made so much more sense after doing it hands-on

I got to play a card game about crows collecting shiny things, another about mermaids recruiting sea animals, I tried out one of the #Daggerheart intro adventures with a wonderful group a players and passionate GM
