Not necessarily. Often those functions are there for convenience not efficiency. Also, any curved line drawing uses that same underlying function, even drawing a basic circle, so there is no speed advantage to using the built-ins.

It's fairly simple to implement a custom curved line function; a curve is just an equation that defines points along it connected by straight lines stackoverflow.com/questions/11...

I'm lucky enough to have a partner in my Game Dev, but if I were solo I believe I would have the same issue as this person. I'm not the best at social interaction, so I would have difficulty reaching out on social media, and would feel super isolated to the point where I would abandon the project.
