They finally touched on JJ's longing for his father and idealizing him in the story. It's a shame they had to bring up what happened with Kayla; that's not how JJ should have found out, and he was rightfully resentful of his entire family after he was arrested. #Days #2013Episodes

Jennifer really stooped low with her words to JJ that "if you move out, don't you dare come back". The writers in 2013 are making the character even more disgusting, although it's realistic: Jennifer simply loves her firstborn more, and the second one is treated worse.

Also this insert by Jennifer about JJ ruining his own father's memory with the question what happened to you and the tone as if only Jennifer was suffering and it was important to her, without even once asking what JJ felt after his father's death. They ruined the character completely

Jennifer must have gone into mother mode, more loving and understanding towards her firstborn child (Abby) than towards a teenager who recently lost his father and is lost. If she understood that, she would have attacked the company JJ started hanging out with first.
