Alternatively, you could use a Wasp Kingdom Drill shield, that wouldn't hinder your digging skills.

Well you could always go with the route of an old friend of mine.
He was a demolitionist and he had this massive hammer.
Called it his Mighty Hammer. It was strong enough to take down even the toughest of buildings.
