"It is no exaggeration to say this will kill people—mainly people who are elderly, disabled and/or poor. Society’s most vulnerable sit in the crosshairs of our nation’s wealthiest people who have absolutely everything, but somehow always want more."
The full force of this administration’s destruction is about to hit
Once social security checks stop showing up, millions of Americans will finally understand the scope.

They can't eliminate the diversity of this country. It was always here and it always will be here in these places, whether or not the USA itself endures. They can create hierarchy and repression, and we can oppose it by embracing equality and diversity. Si se puede and sic semper tyrannis.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

More accurate, fewer words;

"There are plenty of contractors going under".

A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary.

PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.
