did it fully by arneson's method here. i do like how the height affects things especially the roads, rivers, and wooded areas. but the contours just look bad.
i prefer just hiding them for now but if i could make it look okay i would 😫 because contours are cool!!

trying the map generating tools given in 'first fantasy campaign' for filling in the five mile squares-- sans the hills and streams because i'm not sure yet how i want to approach them.
