It’s so hard being one of like three 28 Weeks Later defenders. That movie hits! It’s a great exploration of the failings of “America as world police” and also the supplanting of Americanism as the defining Anglo identity post-Suez Crisis! They use the helicopter blade to just massacre some zombies!

As somebody who eats a LOT of rice, I decided to splurge on a big fancy bag of short grain rice as opposed to my usual medium grain calrose or worse, generic long grain, and oh my gooooooood this is a game changer. It’s so good and my rice cooker is able to get the consistency perfect every time.
