I think the Barber half dollar is a very attractive coin, but in better and not so better grades they are rather pricey. So

As an American travelling in England some years ago, I was introduced to mushy peas. You have to use a specific kind of pea and cook them in a rather unusual way, but they have become a common side dish in my house, here served with brined pork chop and mashed potatoes.
